Poem: Summer in Seattle (2008.06.22)

20080622 – Summer in Seattle

with wine painted lips
we stormed out
into the night
in purpose and potential
following Dionysus upon his leopard
- his cask overflowing
gravity carrying us into
The heart of the city
Where our tide-swell
is to break-
amongst the thousands
lucid and lascivious souls.
Oh how we shall swallow
them whole!
How we shall fill their
gullets with ourselves
And in the morn
vomit forth the world.
