Images from North Coast trip (2007.11.27)

So to make ample use of the thanksgiving weekend I went up to the Sonoma - Mendocino coast near Salt Point, Goat Rock, etc. I picked 2lbs of huckleberries near fort Ross and picked up a bunch of jade near goat rock. Below are some of the images I captured while up there.

Near Salt Point - Gaudi would love this place, it is reminiscent of Casa Batlló

Also near Salt Point

Pacific purple shore Crab

fly agaric mushroom, also known as Amanita muscaria ... very psychedelic and poisonous if not consumed properly. Shamans on the Pacific North West use to consume the fungus and then collect their urine and give it to other people in the tribe for spiritual journeys. In the urine is muscimol with all the other components that give negative effects from the mushroom stripped out by the shaman's body.
